Wahab Riaz Takes Charge as Punjab Sports Minister

Wahab Riaz, a former international player for Pakistan, has finally started his job as interim sports minister for Punjab under the caretaker government.

Wahab Riaz, a fast bowler for the Pakistan Cricket Team, took over as the Punjab government’s interim sports advisor on Wednesday. He met Commonwealth Gold Medalist Javelin Thrower Arshad Nadeem at his office. Wahab Riaz has been charged as Sports Minister of Punjab.

Wahab Riaz also spoke with DG Punjab Sports Muhammad Tariq Qureshi and Secretary Sports Punjab Shahid Zaman.

The newly appointed advisor for sports and youth affairs has expressed a desire to increase efforts aimed at helping young people and increasing the number of options available to them.

To maintain their health and fitness, he suggested the kids get involved in sports.
Wahab Riaz also promised that during his time as an advisor, he would work to increase the number of sporting events held in order to foster the development of new athletes.

He also stated that he had a conversation with Arshad Nadeem about improving sports in Punjab and finding answers to the issues facing players.

Wahab Riaz who is appointed as Punjab Sports Minister would be having a brief time in office, and it appears that Wahab has adapted well to his new position.

This is indeed a great achievement given to Wahab after Naseem Shah who was appointed as Honorary DSP.
