The government of Pakistan, along with the respective provincial governments are constantly taking actions to ensure this generation or the youth of Pakistan has all the opportunities that they need in order to grow and make their mark in the world. One of these is the introduction of the Artificial Intelligence Test in Pakistan and urging students to take the test to see where they stand. The Sindh government held the Artificial intelligence and computing test. More than 25,000 students took part in the test.
Remember the time when they used to say that there will come a time when robots will take over the world, and humans would just have to sit down and relax. But then we saw Wall-E and realized all the things that could go wrong with our initial plans. But then again, it does not mean that we need to stop making any advancements in science. On the contrary, we must study and explore all that we want to by keeping in mind the right usage for it all.
All the students who took part in this wanted to excel in the fields of emerging fields of Software, Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, the Internet of Things, Networking & Cloud Computing under the Presidential Initiative for Artificial Intelligence and Computing (PIAIC). President of Pakistan, Dr. Arif Alvi also visited the Karachi National Stadium, where this test was taking place.
In his speech, he said, “Once you complete your education and training, you would avail thousands of opportunities in this sector across the world,” he also said that “the government is extending all kinds of support to the IT sector and laws have been made to facilitate the growth of this sector.”
“After the training, you can start entrepreneurship as the government has also launched Kamyab Jawan Program to extend interest-free financial support of up to Rs. 1,000,000 to youth,” the President said.
This project is in collaboration with Saylani International Welfare Trust (SWIT). The SWIT aims to ensure that the youth of Pakistan excel in all their fields, and stand tall to make Pakistan proud one day. In his address, the president of SWIT said, “We are working to train the youth in the IT sector as it can help develop the country through promoting entrepreneurship in the country,” he added.
Tests and initiatives like these are very important for the youth. It not only boosts their confidence but also helps them and paves a path for them that navigates their future in the right direction.
