SpaceX is revolutionizing the space travel. The company owned by American visionary and millionaire Elon Musk is creating world’s most advanced rockets and space shuttles. Apart from inventing advanced space rockets, Space X is also changing the future of the internet by inventing Starlink.
After much testing and planning, SpaceX is finally getting ready to do actual space travel. This Friday on 8th April, 2022, a rocket ship blasted off into space. Space travel was unique in a sense that it carried an all-private astronaut team to International Space Station. The flight is the cornerstone of modern space travel. It is also said to be a milestone in the commercialization of low-earth orbit.

The four-person team was selected by a Houston-based startup named Axiom Space Inc. The rocket ship departed from Cape Canaveral, Florida. Cameras were fit inside the rocket ship to monitor everything from start to finish.
Now that humanity’s first rocket space has been launched, a question arises. What does it mean for our future? It marks as one of the landmark events where for the first time, where space has been commercialized. With that, it is believable that humanity has taken its first step towards a more advanced future.
For the sci-fi enthusiasts, this might be the day when humanity finally breaks it shackles of the old past and steps into the new era. Considering how humanity has achieved space commercialization, it will not be long before SpaceX begins probing planets for possible terraforming or space mining. From here onwards, two possible scenarios are predicted. The first one is that humanity will start using the materials from outer space to construct new energy sources and drive humanity forward. It is also expected that we will improve the lifestyle on earth through this approach. The other path towards humanity could steer towards could be related to terraforming. We could create favorable conditions on other planets for us to live somewhere other than earth. It could end up solving major issues like overpopulation or lack of resources.
