“If Wasim bhai has accepted responsibility for Karachi Kings, then he has to make some time for them. There is no way for someone in Australia to take charge of the team. You are expected to provide some of your time as a sign of your professionalism “He was really adamant.
According to Afridi, the Kings have a strong blend of players, but they need to work on their confidence.
“I think it would be beneficial to have Wasim Bhai on the squad. It does not make sense to join a team that has already been put together “he said.
A change in leadership did not help the Kings, who started the PSL 8 season with three consecutive losses. Imad Wasim was reinstated to his position as captain when Babar Azam was dealt to Peshawar Zalmi in exchange for Shoaib Malik.
Peshawar Zalmi defeated Quetta Gladiators, claiming second place on the points standings
Kings had suffered defeat at the hands of Peshawar Zalmi, Islamabad United, and Quetta Gladiators up to this point. They finally ended their skid of defeats on Sunday when they competed against Lahore Qalandars.
