Razzaq Faces Heavy Backlash After the Controversial Media Talk

Razza issues apology to Aishwarya Rai, saying it was a “Slip of tongue”

 

 

Former Pakistani all-rounder Abdul Razzaq is facing backlash on social media. In a media talk the Pakistani former cricket star outburst about Indian actress and former Miss World Aishwarya Rai Bachan.

Razzaq issued a public apology today saying that he intended nothing like it seemed. he said it was a “Slip of tongue”.

While talking about recent World Cup performance by Pakistani team and talking about overall Pakistani Cricket system and management, Razzaq said that as a cricketing nation we don’t have intentions to polish and produce superstars, the former test cricketer tried to explain this statement with an example where he mentioned Aishwarya Rai. He said true intentions are very important, if you have wrong intentions, you cannot produce good talent. It is like that as if you are intending to marry Aishwarya and expecting good and obedient kids.

The statement went viral on media like a flare of fire. Former cricketers condemned Razzaq’s statement and said that one must talk with responsibility when masses are following you as a inspiration and a star.

The Indian media also highlighted the issue highly. Razzaq faced lots of backlash on Indian media as well. The Indian media even demanded for a public apology from the all-rounder.

Razzaq also talked about Mohammad Hafeez and his captaincy, criticizingly. Razzaq is also on the verge of issuing a public apology to PCB on talking against former skipper Hafeez.

Abdul Razzaq was one of the best all-rounders of the sport the world has seen. Generally, Razzaq is considered to be a responsible person. This talk was a shock for a lot of people. For sure, this media talk has created lot of controversy and Razzaq is going to get rid of the issue any sooner.
