PARIS, Kim Jones, the creative head for Paris menswear Fashion Week 2023 at Dior, held his summer show at the Ecole Militaire in the center of Paris. The setting was sparse and futuristic, and the models walked up a metal runway.
The runway show started with a whining burst of scratchy electronic sounds. As the floor panels rolled back, the stage was lit up, and the floor began to move up. Slowly, rows of models came out and filled the room.

In Paris menswear Fashion Week 2023, one by one, they got off the squares and walked around the room to a sad beat, wearing textured suits with a queer look decorated with pearls and sequins.

The color range was limited to primarily grey, white, and pastels. Accessories, like knit caps with pompoms, small clutch bags, and chunky loafers, came in bright neon pink or yellow.

In the front row were Winnie Harlow, Demi Moore, Cha Eun-woo, and Gwendoline Christie from “Game of Thrones.” Delphine Arnault, the chief executive of the LVMH-owned French fashion label, sat next to her father, Bernard Arnault, the chairman and chief executive of LVMH.
On Tuesday, Pharrell Williams showed his first collection at Louis Vuitton in a big show that finished with a performance by him and Jay-Z. His son Rocket and his wife Helen Lasichanh were there.
“Wow! Wow!” Williams said as the applause erupted at the end.
