Due to the travel and tourism restrictions, the growth of this sector was curtailed significantly. A total of 117 countries are a part of the 2021 edition of the index. The ranking is based on the policies and factors that the country put in place to facilitate the development of the travel and tourism sector. Seems like Pakistan has invested a lot of effort and money in enforcing policies that could result in the growth of tourism in the country.
