The Multan Sultans beat Quetta Gladiators by a margin of nine wickets on Wednesday at the Multan Cricket Stadium in the third game of the current eighth season of the Pakistan Super League (PSL).

PSL 2023: Multan Sultans defeat Quetta Gladiators to win the match. The Sultans were inspired by explosive batter Rilee Rossouw, who helped them comfortably chase down 111 runs with 39 balls remaining.

Impressive Rossouw helped Sultans complete the task with the bat by reaching his seventh PSL 50 off 33 balls. He hit 78 runs off only 42 balls, including three maximums and nine boundaries.

Ihsanullah, a 20-year-old spinner, had a great day today as he claimed five wickets to aid Sultans in dismissing Gladiators for 110. Ihsanullah dominated in only his second encounter of the first PSL season because to his quick deliveries and back-to-back wickets. In his four overs, he took five wickets and only allowed 12 runs to be scored.

In addition to Ihsanullah, the other two pacers for the Sultans, Sameen Gul and Abbas Afridi, provided their team a head start by taking a wicket apiece.

Aggressive hitter Martin Guptill was sent packing after scoring seven runs when Sameen struck in his first over.

Abdul Wahid Bangalzai was the next victim, caught by Kieron Pollard at midfield off of Abbas Afridi.

Sarfaraz Ahmed was out for Quetta as a result of Ihsanullah’s powerful delivery that knocked the stumps over. After just two runs had been scored, the captain returned.

After scoring 27 runs, Ihsanullah struck again in his second over, sending destructive hitter Jason Roy packing.
