The film director of Jawani Phir Nhe Ani, Nadeem Baig, has just dropped a bombshell on the need-to-get-a-life fans. The third part of the brilliantly scripted series will bring a unique spiced-up flair to the typical breakup-and-let’s-mingle-again love stories by shooting the film on the moon. You read that right!
Here is what the film director had to say, “Truth be told, we are doing something different! This is not your ordinary Jawani Phir Nhe Ani movie in which a few husbands need to get away from their wives and escape to exotic locations. Nor it is that kind of movie where we make your hearts clamor in the chest by showing suicide and death and still manage to appear funny.
No! The third movie of the series will deal with a very different plot as two husbands escape their wrathful wives, and flee to the moon. The wives will follow them of course since an angry wife can defy physics or laws of the mortal realm! Also, there is the matter of Sherry turning into a serial killer.”
When asked how he would manage to shoot on the moon, the director was rather confident as he said, “I believe we have done 99% of the work. We have actors and a ready-to-shoot crew. All we need is a spaceship.”
Leaked tweets from the film’s production set have revealed that the plot will employ some of the dark elements from the second one. Our much beloved Sherry who transformed from a heartless lawyer to the lovesick puppy will undergo another transformation. When Zoe dumps Sherry for a wealthier and younger guy, Sherry ends up again in a mental hospital because if a girl rejects you, your life is pretty much over. The madness eats him and soon, he transforms into a raging serial killer. Bet you didn’t see that coming! During the day, he spends his precious hours destroying people’s marriages as a divorce lawyer, and during the night, he goes about killing love-stricken fools and tiktokers. Don’t worry. The film is going to show it in a way that it feels funny as hell!
Of course, it isn’t just Humayun Saeed who will appear on the screen. His screen time is only ninety percent. Sherry’s friends, Rahat and Sheikh realize what he has become, and like all besties they let him do whatever makes him happy! Sherry’s life changes when he finds out that his love interest from the first movie didn’t actually die but somehow got her face changed through plastic surgery and is now living another life on the moon. There, Marina is married to an alien who looks exactly like Fahad Mustafa and is played by him too.
Sherry’s murderous streak is put to rest at once, as his love rekindles and he travels to the moon to do what he does best i.e. ruin another marriage. Accompanying him are Rahat and Sheikh who want to get away from their wives.
The production is in the early stages, as the film director has decided to exclude all other actors and instead include only the main ones who will play the role of Shiekh, Humayun Saeed, Marina, Moon Alien, and Rahat.
“We have decided to completely redo the cast. Rahat is played by a random black actor to show diversity. I am sure the fans won’t even notice. Also, we might make it diverse by making Shiekh undergo surgery and become a woman. Our fans will easily understand our decisions. Also, Humayun Saeed will finally become abstinent after a changed version of Marina rejects him. I am sure our fans will support us in such an amazing turn of events.”
Nadeem Baig has also mentioned how difficult it was to gather resources for shooting on the moon, and how his efforts are finally bearing fruits.
“We have tried reaching Elon Musk and our efforts have paid off. Though it is in the form of restraining orders, Elon Musk has noticed us and it won’t be long before he will have a change of heart, and will lend us his spaceships to shoot on the moon.”
At this point, only God knows what else is going on in the creative director’s mind. But he surely is quite positive about the possibility of shooting on the moon.
