ICC unveils T20 World Cup 2024 schedule

The much-anticipated schedule for the ICC T20 World Cup 2024 was released by the International Cricket Council (ICC) on Friday.

The much-anticipated schedule for the ICC T20 World Cup 2024 was released by the International Cricket Council (ICC) on Friday. The tournament will begin on June 1, with hosts USA playing Canada in a group A match in Dallas.

Indian and Pakistan, two of the world’s biggest foes, will fight on June 9 at New York’s Eisenhower Park.

It is important to note that the big event will take place in two countries: the US and the West Indies. Together, they will host 55 matches.

West Indies sites include the Kensington Oval in Barbados, the Brian Lara Cricket Academy in Trinidad, the Providence Stadium in Guyana, the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium in Antigua, the Darren Sammy Cricket Ground in St. Lucia, and the Arnos Vale Stadium in St. Vincent.

In the US, the games will be held in three places: Eisenhower Park in New York, Lauderhill in Florida, and Grand Prairie in Texas.

The semi-finals will be held in Guyana on June 26 and 28 and in Trinidad on June 27. The World Cup final will be held in Barbados on June 29.

Indian, Pakistan, Ireland, Canada, and the United States are in Group A of the T20 World Cup 2024.

England, Australia, Namibia, Scotland, and Oman are in Group B.

We have New Zealand, the West Indies, Afghanistan, Uganda, and Papua New Guinea in Group C.

Group D: Nepal, Sri Lanka, South Africa, and Bangladesh

Twenty teams that qualified have been split into four groups of five. The top two teams in each group will move on to the Super eight round.

At that point, the qualified teams will be split into two groups of four again. The top two teams will move on to the semi-finals, and the winners will play in the final.

Since 2010, when England won the T20 World Cup, this is the first time that it has been held in the West Indies.

This is the first time that the US will host an event as big as the World Cup, though.

England is the current winner because they beat Pakistan in the final to win the 2022 T20 World Cup in Australia.
