Hunger Games Prequel Coming To Theaters

Suzanne Collin’s novel The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes will be adapted into a movie. President Coriolanus Snow will return once more like a younger version of himself. The actor Tom Blyth will play the role of the white-haired villain who makes things very difficult for Katniss Everdeen and serves as one of the antagonists of the series.

Hunger Games was one of the best science fiction dystopian films that scored major hits in cinemas. People absolutely loved the bold sci-fi take on capitalism, and what unchecked dictatorship can lead to. There is the concept of a Capital that rules with an iron fist over the twelve districts. Keeping them impoverished and unable to fend for themselves, the Capital makes sure that the people of those twelve districts are never able to mount a proper resistance against the atrocities of the Capital. To further demotivate them, the Capital organizes Hunger Games every year where the denizens of the districts kill each other.

The entire game changes when a young girl named Katniss Everdeen is selected for the 12^th Hunger Games. There, a series of events unfold which lead to Katniss joining hands with rebels and finally relinquishing the claws of Capital over the districts.
