It’s all sunshine and roses when we are in love. Everything seems perfect and a fairytale. A prince charming on the white horse or a princess with long hair, which is what we have always fantasized about. Moreover, movies and songs have always endorsed this very concept. But what if you’re beloved isn’t in love with you, you might think of committing suicide, but hey we have some examples to share with you. You might find them helpful in the future. But beware! Our folktales are full of praises of the lovers. Whether it is Sohni who crosses the Chenab on kaccha ghara to meet Mahiwal but drowns in the river, meeting a tragic end. Or Farhad who was given the task of carving the stream of milk for Shireen where he killed himself after he came to know that he was betrayed. None of these love stories had a happy end.
But here in the news, we have couples of incidents where the beloved made sure to meet their loved one or at least tried to do what they can to prove love.
A Bangladeshi woman crossed the river to meet her lover in India, where later she was arrested. But then she was determined to meet her lover. This is true love.
In another incident, a senior Indian official shared confidential data with his Pakistani friend on social media, later he had been arrested for leaking the information. Well, you need to be careful if you are in a sensitive position. You need to be smarter.
We have another interesting incident to share with you. A couple thought to commit suicide as their families weren’t agreeing to their marriage. The man backed off the suicide pact, leaving the woman stranded. She was intelligent enough though and launched an FIR against him. If you can’t be doing stuff with me, you ain’t mine Man.
