With nine nominations, including eight for her dance-focused album “Renaissance,” Beyoncé leads all other nominees for the 65th annual Grammy Awards. The other is for the song “Be Alive,” which appears in the movie “King Richard.”
She is among the front-runners for the most recent awards, which will be presented on February 5 in Los Angeles. Other contenders include Kendrick Lamar, who has eight nominations, Adele, Brandi Carlile, Harry Styles, Mary J. Blige, Future, DJ Khaled, and the producer and songwriter The-Dream, who each have six.
Beyoncé and her husband Jay-Z are now tied for the most nominations ever given to a musician in the awards, with 88 career nods each. Beyoncé and Adele’s battle this year in one of the most anticipated competitions.
