Nishan e Haider is the highest military award of Pakistan. Nishan-e-Haider means “Emblem of the Lion” when translated in Urdu. Its symbol is Β NH and was established in 1957. To date, there are 10 recipients of Nishan e Haider.Β Raja Sarwar, Tufail Muhammad, Rashid Minhas, Raja Aziz Bhatti Shaheed, Shabbir Shareef, Karnal Sher Khan, Lalak Jan, Muhammad Mehfuz, Sawar Muhammad Hussain, and Saif Ali Janjua Shah.

Sitara-e-ImtiazΒ is the third-highest civilian award. Awarded to the civilians who have contributed to the national interest, and world peace along with contribution in literature, arts, sports, and science. It is also awarded to the foreign nationals who have contributed toward the national cause.Β It was established in 1957 and is symbolized by SI civilians.
President’s Award for Pride of Performance is a civilian award given to the people for their contribution in the fields of arts, sports, literature, and nursing. It is also awarded to foreign nationals. It is given once a year on 14th August. It was established in 1958.
Sitara-e-Basalat is a non-operational gallantry award given to the officers of the Armed Forces for their bravery and courageous acts in the battle. It was established in 1957 and is symbolized as SBt.
Tamgha-e-Jur’at is the fourth highest military award. It is awarded to the who have performed extraordinarily in armed combat on the battlefield on Pakistani soil or the borders. It was established in 1957 and is symbolized as TJ.
Tamgha e Shujaat is a civilian award given for the bravery and moral courage shown by the civilians. It was established in 1957 and is symbolized as TSt.
Tamgha-e-Imtiaz military is a state-organized award. It is given to the military officers for their bravery. Established in 1957 and is symbolized as TI Military.
Tamgha-e-Imtiaz civilian It is given to any civilian in Pakistan based on their achievements. It can also be awarded to foreign citizens who have performed great service to Pakistan.

Tamgha-e-Sad Saala Jashan-e-Wiladat-e-Quaid-e-Azam was established in 1976. It is a commemorative medal of the 100th Birth Anniversary of Quaid e Azam.
Qarardad-e-Pakistan Tamgha was established in 1990. It is to commemorate the Golden Jubilee of Resolution Day.
