Bitcoin value has been declining since the last year. Today’s crash wiped out $600 billion from the market. $1 Trillion has been lost in the aggregate market. This is a huge blow for the people who had invested heavily in bitcoins. This is the second-largest decline in dollars.

Due to this, Russia has also proposed to ban it. Russia is one of the three top bitcoins mining countries in the world.
According to the Bespoke Analysts, “It gives an idea of the scale of value destruction that percentage declines can mask. Crypto is, of course, vulnerable to these sorts of selloffs given its naturally higher volatility historically, but given how large market caps have gotten, the volatility is worth thinking about both in raw dollar terms as well as in percentage terms.”
