Members of the civil society and the creative sector visited the Jinnah House Corps Commander House to show their solidarity and passionately condemn the attack and “arson.” Ustad Hamid Ali Khan, a well-known classical vocalist, Shafqat Ali Khan, Maigha, Waris Baig, Amar Baig, Shahid Khan, Moammar Rana, Nayyer Ijaz, Sahar Ali Bagga, and many other performers spoke to the assembled journalists.
The artistic community claimed that Pakistan, not Jinnah House, was the target of this attack. Candles were lit, and Quaid received condolences from the civic society and the artistic community for their failure to defend Jinnah House from the criminals. Pakistan is their top priority, according to the artistic community. “If Pakistan exists, we are; if Pakistan does not, we are nothing,” Moammar Rana added.
The artists said the incident should be investigated and May 9 will go down in history as a black day. However, in this scenario, the Pakistani military showed an excellent example by exercising patience.
