Aima Baig from Pakistan and Trishala Gurung from Nepal are both scheduled to perform in the spotlight at a significant Asian cricket tournament for the first time ever.
The opening ceremony of the highly awaited Tournai, the Asia Cup 2023, which begins on Wednesday at the Multan Cricket Stadium, will include the vocal powerhouses lighting up the stage.
Before the first match of the series begins, Baig and Gurung will perform a “curtain-raiser” song to show off their vocal prowess.
Pakistan and Nepal will play in the first game. The Asia Cup’s opening ceremony will take place at 2:00 pm, however spectators can begin packing the stadium as early as 11:30 am.

At 2:30 pm, the opposing sides will begin their cricket encounter.
In a meeting with the Nepalese cricket squad earlier on Monday, Pakistan wicketkeeper Mohammad Rizwan praised them on their impressive Asia Cup qualifying.
Rizwan said, “You [the Nepal cricket team] have qualified for the Asia Cup deservingly because of your full passion to the game.“If you need any support, tell us. By putting all the hard work and dedication into the game, productive results will come for Nepal.”
