Ahad Raza Mir is back on our screens with his new Ramzan Special drama and we can’t be any more excited about it. The last drama that he did was with his wife – Sajal Aly on HUM TV; Yeh Dil Mera, and it was a drama completely out of the league of the normal dramas that we watch. Ahad is known to choose different scripts for his drama – scripts that test his characters to different lengths and show us a new side of him.
Ramzan is a time when the majority of Pakistan wants to watch feel-good, comedy-dramas that make one feel good, sentimental, and gives them a laugh. And Pakistani channels know just how to deliver that – especially HUM TV. For the last three years, this channel has given us some amazing Ramzan special dramas. Suno Chanda, Suno Chanda Season 2, and then Chupke Chupke. With having set the benchmark so high themselves, they are now back with what seems like just another outstanding drama – Hum Tum.
We have only just seen one teaser of the drama but even from that, we can tell that it will fun-filled. The cast includes Ahad Raza Mir, Ramsha Khan, maybe – Sara Ali Khan, and many others.
The drama revolves around the story of Ahad Raza Mir and Ramsha Khan, and this is the first time that these two will share the screen. And even with just having seen a glimpse of them from the teaser – we are sure that they will have very good chemistry.
Just like Ahad Raza Mir, Ramsha Khan too carefully selects through her scripts and chooses dramas that will bring a new character to life and challenge her. Her characters are never simple and have those complexities to them which makes her and her character all the more entertaining and humanistic.
Having said all of this, we can’t wait for this drama to start. It is very likely that it will air from the first of Ramzan, and will end either on Eid day or the day before – and the best part about it is that it will most likely have a happy ending.
So, we have good chemistry between characters, a different script, different cast, and a good story which will have everything – drama, climax all leading up to the end of the story. We can’t wait for this drama to start because at the end of the day – when after a long summer day of fasting we can all sit down with our families and watch this drama!
