Grand Theft Auto V was first published on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 exactly ten years ago, and shortly after, Grand Theft Auto Online was made available to players. Rockstar Games took to its Threads community today to express its gratitude to the game’s devoted players, citing them as “the reason Grand Theft Auto V has thrived across multiple console generations.”
Rockstar also made an announcement about new content for GTA Online the week before last. The update was made to celebrate the game’s first anniversary and included new clothes, GTA V themed weapon finishes, more game modes, a stock vehicle dubbed the Bravado Hotring Hellfire for GTA+ members, along with other items and prizes for completing certain tasks.

Rockstar has also released versions of GTA V for the subsequent generations of the Xbox and PlayStation video game consoles. These versions include graphical enhancements such as ray tracing. The corporation disclosed Grand Theft Auto VI one year ago but has not yet published any details about the game, with the exception of ninety minutes of gameplay video and its source code.
