The Ramadan of 2022 is in the hot sweltering summers and for that reason, it is natural for oneā€™s energy levels to decline. However, it is quite possible to maintain high energy with proper preparation. Given below are the five ways to maintain high energy levels during the month of Ramadan even if it is the hot season.

  1. Proper Hydration

Make sure to keep yourself hydrated. Normally, you would want to drink at least 8-10 glasses of water. Now that your time is limited, you should do with at least 4-5 glasses of water during suhoor and then after iftar. Being properly hydrated can make a difference between you being fully awake, and struggling to keep your eyes open. Proper hydration is the key to performing at your peak in these Ramadan.

  1. Proper Meals

Donā€™t go for fast food or greasy meals during suhoor or iftar all the time. It is imperative for you to maintain a healthy diet, especially during Ramadan. A proper meal can elevate your energy levels and can make you more resistant to fatigue. Greasy snacks might serve to fill your belly for the time being, but they donā€™t give you much energy.

  1. Exercise

Contrary to misguided belief, exercising in Ramadan will not exhaust you if you do it right. Even a little bit of walk can go a long way. Your body will thank you for the little bit of exercise. Foer one, it will increase your energy levels. Exercising a little bit will also fill your belly quicker.

  1. Getting Proper Sleep

Make sure to get at least 7-8 hours of sleep. It is quite hard to do so, especially if one has to wake up during suhoor. However, it is possible with time management to get proper sleep. You can sleep during the daytime. Most of the offices/colleges these days have reduced their working hours which means you can go home earlier and get your much-needed sleep. You can also sleep after iftar and then wake up two hours before sehri.

  1. Keep Cool

Staying outside without any reason can take its toll on you. You need to be present in a cool environment. Regular cold-water showers can do wonders when it comes to increasing your energy levels. Avoid strolling unnecessarily in the heat outside. It will save you from dehydration that can cause you severe fatigue, especially during these Ramadan.
