Cricket, Cricket, and Cricket Everywhere!!!! It seems cricket is in the air. If we call this year, ‘the year of cricket’, it won’t be wrong. ICC has announced their schedule for the upcoming ICC T20 World Cup in Australia to be held in October 2022 and the U19 World Cup in West Indies is happening currently.
The T20 World cup is here again. 2021 session was amazing with wonderful performances. This year, it would be held in the second half of 2022. It will start on 18th October and wrap up with finals on 13th November. The world cup will be hosted by Australia at seven different avenues. 16 nations will participate in the tournament. 12 of them are confirmed, yet 4 will be determined via a Qualifying Round.
The tournament will kick off with the winners of 2021 Australia against runners-up New Zealand. The arch-rivals, Pak and India will face each other once again on 23rd Oct. This is going to be fun. Woohoo!!! We are so excited about it. Are you?

*Haseeb Ullah Khan is the 6th Pakistan batter to make a 100 in U19 WC. The other players included Hasan Mohsin, Umair Masood, Imam-ul-Haq, Babar Azam twice, and Bazid Khan.
The Balochistan-born Haseebullah Khan is the sixth batter from Pakistan to score a 100 in U19 Cricket World Cup.

New Rule: If COVID-19 breaks out in any camp, replacement players can be flown in to complete the squad. Currently, 5 players in the Indian U19 camp have tested positive and are in isolation now. More tests are being done to confirm the status of the remaining players.
