The beautiful and enchanting region of Gilgit-Baltistan, Skardu is all set to host the 5th edition of Sarfaranga Rally. Sarfaranga Jeep Rally will be held from 6th to 8th of October 2023 in the cold desert of Sarfaranga Skardu. The rally track is located in district of Shigar in Skardu.
More than 100 racers will compete in all categories in the three-day event. Rally enthusiasts and racers have reached Skardu for the most adventurous rally. Jeep rally enthusiasts from Pakistan and abroad participate in the rally and thousands of people travel to Skardu for the rally from around the globe.
Sarfaranga Jeep Rally was first introduced in 2019 by tourism department of Gilgit-Baltistan. This has attracted enormous number of tourists to the region.
There will 11 categories of race Sarfaranga Cold Desert Jeep Rally, out of which two categories are for motor cycle race and nine categories are for Jeeps and Vehicles.
On the first day which is 6th October, all participants will do a recce of trek. The second day will be day of qualifying rounds. The third and final day of race will the main day where all racers from different categories will be fighting for the top spot.
Best racers and the best-off road vehicles will compete in the rally. People will get a chance to see and meet their favorite rally racers in action.
Other than race, the spectators will experience the beautiful and enrich culture of Gilgit-Baltistan. There will a cultural night where all the ravers, tourists and spectators will experience and get to know closely culture of Gilgit-Baltistan through music, songs, dance and different items. Also, there will be polo matches, polo is the traditional sport of people of Gilgit-Baltistan.

Overall, the three-day event will be full of energy and adventure. The running of heavy engines through the cold desert of Sarfaranga between beautiful and breathtaking views of Skardu is going to be an experience of lifetime.
