After being hit with a pandemic and multiple calamities, later on, it seems humanity is changing its ways. All it took were multiple work-from-home opportunities, a new perspective of appreciating things, and MASS RESIGNATIONS that got many corporate companies thinking. What if…instead of grinding employees five or six days a week, the companies can shift to four days a week…
You are reading it right. Several companies from all over the world are experimenting with four days a week and well, it is going perfectly well not just for them, but also for the employees. The company based in Idaho adopted this 4-day-work strategy. So far, it has resulted in better employee performances and somewhat excellent business revenues.

The success story doesn’t just end there. There is another San Francisco-based startup named Emtrain that has adopted this strategy. The revenues are shooting off the roof there.
In case you are wondering if such a thing is going to happen to your company, well, we got sad news for you. There is no such concept arriving anytime soon in your region anytime soon. Why? Well, the pandemic has lost its severity and the mass resignations have ended. Furthermore, many companies are still relying on old work models which work perfectly in the eyes of some corporate overlords. Therefore, the chances of you getting 3 days off per week are slim, if not totally absent.
There are a plethora of reasons why your job is not becoming the perfectly relaxing dream work anytime soon. First and foremost, there is a great chance of a debate happening on Structure Vs Flexibility. Should an organization shift towards a four-day work model, they will have plenty of reasons to keep you at least 10 hours a day (and we know sometimes it is above that) in the office. Imagine being called on Friday for extra work after you spent 12 hours a day in the office four days a week. It is surely going to amp up your love for your job.
The final verdict is that despite looking like an attractive strategy for work, the 4-day-work model will not work for many organizations or individuals even. Furthermore, many syndicates are working on old models that already work for them flawlessly. There is no way they are going to change that just so you can have extra hours of shuteye in a week.
