The reel doesn’t always reflect reality, especially considering the immense effort actors put into their craft, which often goes unnoticed until someone experiences it firsthand. Actors sometimes face mishaps or accidents on set, adding to the challenges of their profession.
A recent example involves the renowned Pakistani actress, Yumna Zaidi, who experienced a mishap while filming her latest project.
The “Tere Bin” star recently shared a video on her Instagram, capturing an “embarrassing” moment from the set where she took a tumble down the stairs during a scene.
“Reel vs BTS (behind the scenes),” Yumna captioned the video.
The footage shows Yumna performing her role with her usual confidence and grace. In the scene, she was required to walk boldly down a flight of stairs, which she began to do. However, as soon as she stepped on the first stair in her high heels, she lost her balance and fell backwards against the stairs. Although it looked painful, she managed to grab the railing, preventing a worse fall.
The video quickly garnered hundreds of comments from concerned fans of the “Raaz-e-Ulfat” actress, asking if she was okay.
Moved by her fans’ worries, Yumna later posted a ‘disclaimer’ on her Instagram stories, admitting that while the incident was “embarrassing,” it wasn’t actually painful.
“I had a mini scratch at the corner of my nail, otherwise, I was all okay,” she reassured her followers.
Yumna thanked God for her safety and attributed her protection during the mishap to “sadqa,” a form of charity in Islam meant to seek protection from misfortune.
She also confirmed that she was fine by informing her fans that she even completed the scene right after the fall.
Yumna Zaidi has become a household name thanks to her powerful performances in dramas like “Dar Si Jati Hai Sila” and has appeared in numerous blockbuster series, including “Sinf-e-Aahan,” “Pyar Ke Sadqay,” and “Parizaad.”
