Opening sales in the South Asian country were the highest in Tim Hortons’ history (the chain first opened in 1964) and broke a world record. The Pakistani franchise not only outpaced everyone in the brand’s history but also in the number of locations it operated.
The availability of Tim Hortons’ signature French Vanilla and Iced Capps, as well as their baked goods, including their delicious donuts called “Timbits,” sandwiches, and wraps, in Pakistan, increased the likelihood of a record-breaking sale. This Tim Hortons in Lahore breaks global records.

Well-known actor Farhan Saeed from the show Mere Humsafar also tweeted his concern: “You can find one Pakistani in the Tim Hortons line, and another waiting in line for aata and ghee at a utility store. That there is a gap in the middle scares me.”

On February 18 and 25, respectively, Tim Hortons will open its second and third locations in Gulberg, Lahore.
