Youth is the time when you have the energy to dream and pursue them. Pakistan is a land of youth with immense talent. The stats might show something different, but repeatedly, our youth have made us proud. Hardships are there but, your will and determination will take you to the heights of success. Sohaib Qureshi, a young entrepreneur, is empowering the youth towards online learning.
Freelancing has become the norm. Many people who want to expand their area of work and want to earn some extra have a lot of options. A freelancer is a person who is self-employed and offers services to many clients at the same time. This also means he doesn’t have to come to the office for a 9-5 job. He is free of that. You are ‘your own boss,’ working from the comfort of the home. What more does one need if it is fast and affordable? Who wants to do a job then!!!
Pakistan in the Top five
In freelancing, Pakistan is among the top five countries in the world. To date, $0.5 billion has been generated, which shows the potential of our youth. According to Online Labour Index published by Oxford Internet Institute (OII) in 2017, Pakistan is the 4th most popular country for freelancing. Because of the growth of IT, it is a constant favorite for the outsourcing of Internet Communications and Technology. In the category of Software Development and technology, Pakistan holds the fourth position. All these stats show we are on the right path.
Sohaib Qureshi is the founder of Future Institute. He is already certified by Google and IBMI. This is a feat. He has diversified skills like SEO and Digital Marketing Expert. He has established an institute to guide young people who usually have the skills but have no direction. Such support and guidance are a blessing. According to him, “I want all boys and girls to earn online as soon as possible. Pakistan has 60% plus youth. I want all of them to freelance, to improve skills, and start their own business and remove the mindset of the job.”
At the moment he has offered a lot of courses, and the positivity rate is almost 96% which is great. This shows his determination to see Pakistani youth at a level to compete in the international market. We are as talented as any youth in the world.
