Shoaib Akhtar welcomes his third child and it’s a baby girl!

Former world record-breaking fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar of Pakistan revealed the gender of his third child when he announced the birth.

Mikaeel and Mujaddid recently welcomed a baby sister. The former pacer, who now owns the record for bowling the fastest ball, wrote on Instagram, “Allah taala has blessed us with a baby daughter.”

“Welcoming Nooreh Ali Akhtar, born on the 19th of Shaban, 1445 AH, during Jumma prayers,” Akhtar uttered.

He went on, “Aap sab ki duaon ka talab gaar [I ask all of you to pray for me].”

Rubab Khan and Shoaib wed on June 25, 2014. They currently have three kids. The former cricket player and his spouse welcomed their first child, Muhammad Mikaeel Ali, in November 2016. Their second son was welcomed on July 14, 2019.

One of the best bowlers to have ever played the game is Akhtar. At 161.3 km/h, he holds the record for bowling the fastest bowl ever.

In 46 Test matches, The Rawalpindi Express played for Pakistan and claimed 178 wickets at a 3.37 economy rate.

The former fast played in 163 Test matches in the One-Day International format, taking 247 wickets at a 4.76 economy rate. However, he only appeared in 15 international matches with 19 wickets, meaning he didn’t get to play many Twenty20 Internationals with the Green Shirts.

Even though he was a renowned bowler, Akhtar had a long career of ailments. As a result, the Rawalpindi native was unable to participate in the 2007 World Cup, where Pakistan suffered a heartbreaking group-stage elimination.

He only participated in group games and was left out of the knockout stages of the 2011 World Cup in India, which was his last international competition for the Green Shirt
