On Monday, Pakistan all-rounder Shadab Khan made the announcement that he will be getting married to the daughter of Saqlain Mushtaq, who is now the head coach of the squad and a seasoned cricketer.
“Alhamdulilah, today was my Nikkah. It is a significant day in my life and the beginning of a new chapter in my story. Please respect the decisions that I make, as well as those that my wife and I make for our family. Shadab Khan tweeted that he was offering prayers and love to everyone.
Shadab also underlined that he chooses to always keep his personal life, including his family, apart from his professional life, and he emphasised that his wife likewise prefers for her life to be kept secret.
My wife has expressed the same desire; she does not want others prying into her personal life. I would appreciate it if everyone could accept her decision as well as the one that our family has made,” the message said further.
