If you are a fan of Resident Evil Village, Capcom has some good news in store for you. There are new DLCs coming for the fans where you get to explore more of the storylines, and also the aftermath of the Resident Evil Village ending.
Resident Evil Village opened a completely new doorway for the iconic zombie franchise. Fans of the series welcomed the sequel to Resident Evil Biohazard with open arms. Equipped with an amazing storyline, epic characters, and terrifying yet mesmerizing in-game environments as well as characters, the game had everything that fans desired and more. Starting off in the Biohazard, the story featured the protagonist named Ethan Winters. He receives a call from his wife who has been missing in the action for quite some time. He traces her call and follows the location to a mansion, where he is about to have the most horrifying experience of his life.

The game also followed additional DLCs and told us many other horrifying stories, along with following the character arc of our favorite Chris Redfield. Resident Evil Village picked things up from where the Biohazard left and introduced us to completely new lore. The game connected many dots that most of us didn’t know, and eventually led to solving many mysteries along with introducing many new ones.
Now, there are epic new DLCs coming for the fans who want to explore more of the world that Resident Evil Village has to offer. Given below is the list of all new DLCs that the franchise is offering for Village.
- Third Person Mode
The third-person mode is perfect for those who wanted to experience the storyline from a completely different perspective. Those who wanted to see how it was like to view Ethan Winters in 3rd person form, now is your chance. You will also get to experience how the character winces and experiences pain and difficulty from a completely new point of view.
- Mercenaries Additional Orders
Good news for the fans of Lady Dimitrescu! Fans will now be able to play as the iconic vampire lady in the additional mercenaries dlc. You will also get to play Karl Heisenberg and Chris Redfield, both of which are some of the most iconic characters of the series.
- Shadows Of Rose
Resident Evil Village had one of the best and most terrifying reveals about Ethan Winters and his daughter. The main character had originally died in the previous game, and his rebirth was the result of the same virus that had been turning everyone else into zombies. The main character’s daughter Rose is a special individual with an arsenal of her own unique abilities. The DLC will follow Rose’s storyline that takes place 16 years after the events of Resident Evil Village.
It was assumed that a new bar had been set, as the developers had completely done away with the old game mechanics, and embraced a new form of resident evil series. However, the remakes of Resident Evil 2, 3, and now the upcoming remake of the 4, prove otherwise. Meanwhile, you will have to cross your fingers and only expect the best from Capcom. All of these are coming on 28th October 2022.
