Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal Advance Booking Tsunami: Film Records INR 6.40 Crores Before Three Days of Release

 

Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s upcoming film Animal already setting records even before the release. The Ranbir Kapoor starrer film is expected to record a business of INR 50 crores on its opening day. The expectation is seemingly looking to be fulfilled with ease as the most awaited film of the year has already done a business of more than INR 6.40 crores before three days of release.

People in India and across the globe are booking their tickets to watch the film as soon as they can. The process of ticket bookings for the “Animal” film is going unstoppable.

According to the industry tracker, the film has already achieved an incredible feat in the domestic market by selling a total of 2,09,986 tickets for 6,036 shows, earning an impressive revenue of INR 6.42 crore. While the Hindi version accounted for 1,76,192 tickets, generating INR 5.87 crore, the Telugu version contributed 33,453 tickets (INR 54 lakh) and the Tamil version saw the sale of 341 tickets (INR 32,740). Among all the regions, Delhi and Telangana have made the most substantial contributions to the advance bookings of the film, recording INR 1.51 crore and INR 1.23 crore, respectively.

Ranbir Kapoor is already hitting the skies after the release of the trailer of Animal. Ranbir’s performance is a point of discussion and acknowledgment in the film world. Ranbir Kapoor’s influence in the Southern region of India is also notable. The film is set to break the opening day revenue record of Raju Hirani’s film Sanju, Ranbir Kapoor played the protagonist in Sanju as well. Sanju did an opening day business of INR 35 crores.

While gearing up to clash with Meghna Gulzar’s Sam Bahadur, a biographical war drama on the life of India’s first Field Marshal, Sam Manekshaw, Ranbir’s movie is far ahead of the Vicky Kaushal-starrer, as the latter has only managed to sell lesser than 15,000 tickets in advance bookings so far.

Also starring Rashmika Mandanna, Anil Kapoor, and Bobby Deol in key roles, Animal has been jointly bankrolled by T-Series and Cine1 Studios.

The film is set to release on December 1st, 2023. As revealed in the trailer the film is about a son who is fighting for his father.
