Fans of Mahira Khan’s first collection are divided about the high price tag, despite the fact that the line is nearly sold out. M Khan’s latest business, By Mahira, features simple white ensembles she can’t live without.

She was greatly influenced by her cherished Nani when creating her debut collection, Razia. Two kurtas, a trouser, a dupatta, and a silk tunic suit were recently introduced by the newly founded fashion label. Mahira Khan’s Kurtas are a representative of what her Nani really liked and the entire collection is just white.

On February 12, M By Mahira was released to the public, and immediately, people flocked to the website to peruse the collection. People were taken aback by the high pricing, though. The embroidered white dupatta was the line’s least expensive option at Rs3500. Her silk tunic and matching pants cost an exorbitant Rs24,950.

Concerns over the ‘expensive’ apparel line were voiced by several on social media. Many admirers lamented that, despite their undying awe for the diva, they would never be able to purchase one of her creations. “A simple white linen kurta by Mahira Khan going for 13,000? Is that right? Because it seems to be sold out. Why? How? Who?”

People on Twitter have said that the prices are so high that they do not even match the kurtas.

One tweep commented, “Amma saw M by Mahira Khan’s dresses and prices and then said ‘I can get shalwar kameez like these stitched from the tailor for Rs500.”

Another added, “Mahira Khan selling plain silk co-ords for just 25,000 PKR! Suddenly, Zara Shahjahan seems better and cheaper.”

Fans are totally shocked about the prices of Mahira Khan’s Kurtas especially only the ‘plain Kurta’.

Her debut collection, on the other hand, is nearly completely out of stock.
