Instead of taking place on March 8 this year, the annual Aurat March 2023 will take place in Karachi on March 12. The march was originally scheduled to take place on International Women’s Day. However, the organizers decided to postpone it until later in the month due to scheduling conflicts.
This year’s Aurat March Karachi is scheduled to take place on March 12th, 2023 “according to the post made on their official Instagram page. “The caption said, “We continue to stand in total solidarity with the Aurat Marches that will be placed on March 8, 2023, in Hyderabad, Lahore, Islamabad, and Multan.”

In the statement that was mentioned earlier, the organizers stated that the participants will be marching for “our hunger, social security, a living wage, an end to bonded labor, rehabilitation of flood victims, an end to mob violence, an end to domestic violence, the Transgender Persons Protection Act 2018, and to end forced conversions.” In addition, they stated that they will be marching to call for an end to forced conversions.
The expansion of this Aurat March movement brings about something novel each year, whether it takes the form of a billboard, a slogan, or a narrative of people coming together in solidarity. These are the women who are fighting just as hard for every other woman in the nation as they are fighting for themselves, and they are fighting for every woman in the country.
