The same old plots with soap opera clichés like love triangles and violence are getting old to the TV audience. A new generation of programming, made up of 5- to 6-episode short series, has, nevertheless, emerged and is a breath of fresh air.
Ek Thi Laila, Hum Dono, and Sar e Rah are a few of the new programmes, with the latter becoming a big hit as a result of the enthralling lead performance by international star Saba Qamar.
Saba Qamar’s powerful on-screen presence and devoted fan base contributed significantly to the success of the limited series. The Pakistani actress, who has had a successful career for decades and is considered as a symbol of brilliance, beauty, and modesty, has established herself as one of the country’s most exceptional performers.Saba Qamar has maintained a grounded and personable demeanour despite a string of back-to-back singles and acclaim on a global scale for her work, including Khalida Ki Walida. This is a sign of her humility.
Qamar will now co-star in the women-focused drama Gunnah with Rabia Butt and Juggun Kazim. After Eid, Express Entertainment will premiere a limited series in response to the ratings success of its prior offerings.
On her Instagram account, Kazim shared the exciting news.
