Did you do your majors in history? Did you know that you got away at the perfect time? Because for all the history students of the future, a terrible nightmare awaits them for now. Why? Well, let’s start with the times when things were quiet. We are moving back to the end of 2019.
The times were peaceful, and we were enjoying our normal pandemic-free routines. Most of us were doing what we are doing right now i.e. taking things for granted. Then, a Chinese wanted to have some delicious bat cuisine, and then plunge the entire world into chaos. We, humans, dreaded the Covid-19 virus as it spread all across the world. It was one of the major historical events that occurred in 2020. The pandemic invoked worldwide isolation that ended up closing many businesses and factories. Just when historians thought they were done, the world had a lot in store for them. Amazon rainforest caught fire and it was one of the most devastating events for the ecological systems of Earth.
PTI Jalsa: Celebrities Unite With Memers
We have barely begun to take solace in the fact that rains showered over the Amazon forest. The history book still had to be filled with yet another nightmare for the historians. Taliban that had been fighting the war for Afghanistan started rising in power. It was one of the most historic shifts in power in Afghanistan. We can bet many historians had pulled out their hair at that time. At that time, we wanted just one year to go without any event that would be filling the pages of history books. But of course, 2022 arrived and the history students would soon be pulling their hair out.
President Putin decided to take the initiative to fill another page of world history. Putin began the conquest of Ukraine which came as a major blow to many. It added to the already present humanitarian crises list of the world. And now, Pakistan is experiencing one of the sudden transitions in the power.
At this point, some of us are desperately waiting for aliens to come forth and finally add themselves to the history books. The senior historians are very glad that they made it in time. The students will have to now memorize a decade of history that only happened in two years.
