A lot of new features are coming to WhatsApp, like the ability to see your status from inside a conversation. But right now, the app is trying an AI chatbot that is meant to make the experience better for users.
Meta, the company that owns WhatsApp, said in September that the robot would be added to its services.
The chatbot uses Llama 2’s broad language mode to make interactions smooth and natural. The app has also teamed up with Microsoft Bing to give you more complete search results for the web.
WABetaInfo says that the most recent update to WhatsApp beta v2.23.24.26 added a new shortcut to the Meta AI chatbot in the Chats tab, just above the chat icon. this shortcut goes to the chatbot.
Users can easily complete jobs within the app with this chatbot, as they don’t have to go through multiple menus.
Everyone should be able to use the AI chatbot function in the next few days.
But right now, it’s only open to a small group of WhatsApp beta users.
You need to be in the beta programme, which is full right now, if you want to try out the function.
Thanks to AI, this feature’s ease of use will save users time and effort.
