Former Pakistani first-class cricketer Chahat Fateh Ali Khan, a British-Pakistani who lately become popular on social media for his singing videos.
Khan, whose actual name is Kashif Rana, participated in the Quaid-i-Azam trophy season in 1983–84 as a member of the Lahore squad. He participated in two first-class games, winning both with a total of 16 runs in three innings.
Later, in search of a better future, he relocated to the United Kingdom. For 12 years, he also participated in club cricket there.
Rana achieved social media fame as “Chahat Fateh Ali Khan” last year. Millions of users on the social network watched his entertaining singing videos. He also sang a song for the Pakistan Super League (PSL) earlier this year.
