Set against a backdrop of rock and roll music, friendship, love, cakes, shakes, and heartbreak, the trailer offers a glimpse into the lives of a group of young high school students, capturing the essence of their youthful adventures and emotions.
From the moment the trailer begins, it becomes evident that Zoya has created a visually stunning world that beautifully captures the retro aesthetic of the 1960s. The costumes and sets transport viewers to an era of nostalgia and charm.
The attention to detail in recreating the period is commendable, and it adds an extra layer of authenticity to the film. However, at the same time, it is evident that The Archies is the showrunner’s project. Many aspects of it remind one of the dance numbers from her previous project, Dil Dhadakne Do.

The young cast members, including Suhana Khan (Shah Rukh Khan’s daughter), Khushi Kapoor (Sridevi and Boney Kapoor’s daughter), Agastya Nanda (Amitabh Bachchan’s grandson), Mihir Ahuja, Dot., Vedang Raina, and Yuvraj Menda, shine in the trailer, giving a glimpse of their talent and potential. Despite being debutantes, they display promising performances, capturing the range of emotions that come with the rollercoaster ride of adolescence and young adulthood.
The Archies trailer effectively introduces the audience to this new take on the world of Archie Andrews and the gang, showcasing their dreams, aspirations, and the challenges they face while navigating the complexities of growing up. Thus far, it seems to successfully capture the essence of the iconic Archie comics while adding a fresh and contemporary touch to the story.
