Shamoon Abbasi and Sherry Shah, two actors who have collaborated on multiple films, recently announced their engagement and marriage. The Durj actor took to Instagram to discuss the benefits of marriage and why it took the pair so long to announce their union.
Abbasi continued by saying that he is happy with where he is in life and that he is pleased to have achieved peace by being married in front of Allah’s name rather than having women live with him and being dubbed a stud. Hence, I am pleased with my second marriage, for I have always desired a life that brings tranquility, and I have found that peace in her.
Then he spilled the beans, saying he and his longtime sweetheart tied the knot four years ago. “Sherry Shah and I tied the knot four years ago, but we’ve kept the happy news to ourselves out of fear of the backlash it would receive online. Now that the news is out, I want to personally thank everyone who prayed for my husband and me after reading the blog post announcing our marriage.”

Abbasi finished his message with a sarcastic remark about internet trolls. He predicted that many would make fun of the news, but he concluded that it was okay since “haters will hate, potatoes will potate, and rotis will rotate.”
This would be Abbasi’s fourth marriage and Shah’s second; he was previously married to actress Javeria Abbasi and model Humaima Malick.
