Fans are in awe of Saba Qamar’s return to television as a female taxi driver who is actively challenging and breaking stereotypes. Even though only one episode of the Ahmed Bhatti-directed show, Sar-e-Rah has been released so far, it has already become a fan favorite, and for some viewers, that one episode has accomplished more than months of soap operas.
Bollywood star Amar Khan has also given his stamp of approval to the show. She shared a clip from the premiere episode, which starred Qamar, on Instagram and wrote, “In a season of some very average dramas overly praised and viewed, we actually have an outstanding drama after a very long time.” I didn’t know what to make of it at all. She says that Sar-e-rah breaking stereotypes is all that people need to see.
She continued her praise of the production team and Qamar’s performance by saying, “This scene of her changing how to carry a dupatta before going on a journey as a female taxi driver oozes so much that sometimes even thirty episodes fail to emote.”

Just saw the first episode of Sar E Rah. I absolutely love Saba's character, Rania. Great start to the drama, can't wait to see where it goes next.
Also, I wanted to punch her brother in the face so badly.

Absolutely loving @s_qamarzaman in #SareRah. What a gifted actress she is and what a wonderful role she's playing. A female taxi driver who has just had it with society's stupid stereotypes. Watch this one for her. #SabaQamar pic.twitter.com/YH6jYoOLFY

Just watched Saba Qamar's Sar-e-Raah and honestly I am lost for words about how raw & powerful it was. Women supporting other women instead of plotting against them. Waiting for the 2nd episode now. #SareRah
