Sana Khan, a transgender person who lives in Multan, has succeeded in breaking down barriers in spite of the myriad of obstacles she has encountered, including being disowned by her family. Following the completion of her ACCA requirements, she is now working in the financial management field.

Regrettably, the transgender community in Pakistan has been struggling for decades against the nonacceptance and neglect of society. However, Sana Khan has become a role model for other people in her situation, demonstrating that a person can succeed in spite of the obstacles they face if they are passionate about something.

Her message to the community of transgender people is that people like her should not consider jobs with a poor reputation as a means of earning a living and instead choose the path of education in order to earn a livelihood that is honorable for themselves.

The journey that Sana has taken can serve as inspiration for members of the transgender community and help spread the message that one’s own self-worth is entirely a product of their own actions. This indeed is a very proud moment for the community of transgenders.
