Social Media has been doing wonders, but sometimes they backfired. Being the influencer, it has responsibilities on its shoulder. From toppling the governments to influencing people to vote has been all that the current media is delved. The government is going to introduce new social media rules that would be finalized by the end of October.
According to the Federal Minister for Information Technology and Telecommunication, Syed Amin Ul Haque the government has been working on a plan to put out some rules so that social media is not used in the wrong manner.
A committee has been set up to plan the rules and submit the report. The committee has representatives that include the Ministry of Law, the Ministry of IT, and various institutions. The IT Ministry has also made an inquiry committee to further evaluate the use of tablets in cabinet meetings. The good news is the Tik Tok office will be set in Pakistan and the FB delegation will be also visiting soon. That is going to help expand the experience of Pakistani users.
