KPK University in Pakistan prohibits students of both genders from congregating together on campus.

In accordance with a statement that was sent by the university, “It is notified for all the concerned that gathering/coupling (Male & Female) is absolutely Prohibited on any ground, roadways, etc. beyond the grounds of the department,” In short, KPK Bans Mixed-Gender Gatherings and has taken strict actions against it.

The institution also issued a warning to “female students,” instructing them to exercise caution and keep their behavior under control while in their respective classes and the common areas of their departments.

The warning issued by the varsity team said that “strict punishment will be taken against any pupils who violated the rules.” The management of the institution believes that the move will contribute to creating an atmosphere that is better and safer for female students.

According to a notification issued by the varsity, “It is notified for all the concerned that gathering/coupling (Male & Female) is totally banned in any ground, roads beyond the premises of department.”

Two students in the Gomal University’s Institute of Computing and Information Technology (ICIT) Department were fined Rs 5,000 last year for listening to music during class.

Then chairman of the ICIT Department said the two students had been playing music on a Bluetooth speaker in a teaching area of the varsity.

He had added that their action, “disturbed the classes ongoing in the department at the time”.

“Both students were warned multiple times to stop (the music) and were fined when they did not pay heed to the requests,” the chairman had said. The motive that KPK Bans Mixed-Gender Gatherings would generate mixed contradictions among people.
