The United States Educational Foundation in Pakistan (USEFP) has invited students to apply for the prestigious Fulbright Student Programme 2024.

The United States Educational Foundation in Pakistan (USEFP) has invited students to apply for the prestigious Fulbright Student Programme 2024.

A press release on Thursday said that the United States Government pays for the Fulbright Program in Pakistan. It is the biggest financial contribution in the world.

All fields are allowed to apply, such as water, energy, agriculture, health, education, climate change, environmental science, and more. The Fulbright Program does not accept applications for clinical medicine, but applications for non-clinical public health are welcomed.

Before February 28, 2024, people who want to apply can do so at www.usefp.org. The best academic exchange program pays for graduate school, housing, food, insurance, and plane tickets.

The Graduate Record Examination (GRE) is needed for all applicants, and you need to get at least 145 on both the verbal and quantitative parts of the test. Those who make the short list will have to take the Duolingo English Test.

US Ambassador Donald Blome talked about the Fulbright Program’s effects in Pakistan. He said, “Pakistani Fulbrighters have solved social problems, written new laws, advanced policies to make sure everyone has equal access and a voice, and so much more.” The only reason they do any of this is to make Pakistan better, safer, and wealthier. The US and Pakistan are working together to reach this goal.

Through the Fulbright Program, since 2005, almost 3,000 Pakistani students have been given full funding to go to graduate school. These awardees are now making big differences in the public and private fields with their knowledge and skills after finishing their studies and research.

USEFP Executive Director Rita Akhtar tells people who might be interested in applying that they should think about it if they are talented students or working workers.

“We want to encourage people from public universities and areas that aren’t getting enough help to apply.” The Fulbright program is based on applicants’ results, but it also looks at the problems and difficulties they have faced along with their successes.

“Building human capacity in Pakistan is one of the program’s goals. That’s why successful applicants will want to go back to Pakistan when they finish their degrees and use their new skills and knowledge to help the country.”
