In anticipation of ‘Youm-e-Shuhada-e-Pakistan’ on May 25, the families of martyrs have spoken out and sent messages.
The army leader made the declaration to commemorate the martyrs a few days ago.
Flight Lieutenant Saifullah Lodhi Shaheed’s nephew sent a message in which he said that the military is the country’s sole line of protection.
The family of fallen Squadron Leader Shabbir Alam Siddiqui Shaheed has issued a statement urging everybody in Pakistan to take pride in the Pakistan Army. We owe it to them to ensure their efforts were not in vain.
The independence enjoyed by the country is a gift from God, according to Flight Lieutenant Shahid Mehmood Shaheed’s brother.
Mrs. Flight Lt. Mehmood Ahmed Butt Shaheed added, “As a nation, it is our duty to remember the sacrifices of the martyrs and play our part in national progress.”
The sons of the soil gave their life to safeguard the nation, as stated by Squadron Leader Muneeruddin Ahmed Shaheed’s daughter.
During the event, a special prayer was offered for the martyrs’ spirits, and a guard of honor was presented in their commemoration.
On the other hand, Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif asked the people of Pakistan on Wednesday to honor the Shuhada on Thursday, which is Youm-e-Takreem Shuhada-e-Pakistan/ and Youm-e-Shuhada. (Martyr’s Reverence Day).
Today the nation is solemnly observing Youm-e-Takreem Shuhada-e-Pakistan to pay its glowing tributes to our heroes, Ghazis, and martyrs and express its unflinching solidarity with their families.

After her husband died serving his nation, Wing Commander Numan Akram Shaheed’s wife said: “We should remain united and respect the martyrs and should not hesitate to make any sacrifice for the sake of the country.”
Rashid Minhas’s brother said: “A martyr never dies and our religion teaches us to respect martyrs – our nation is ready for any sacrifice.”
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) news release, the sacrifices of Shuhada are eternal and will continue to inspire future generations.
