Employee Makes A World Record For being punctual For 27 Years

Getting recognized by your employer is everyone’s dream.  Kevin is one lucky employee.  He received a movie ticket, a bag of candy, a coffee tumbler, a lanyard, and some pens as a thank-you gift from the employer.

We need days off to rest and get back to work. But some OF us are very dedicated and punctual taking no leaves. Kevin Ford, an employee of Burger King achieved a world record by doing the 27 years of service without taking an off. It is near impossible and hard to think of taking even a casual off from work. He was given a gift bag in recognition of his services. But wait, he became an overnight star by posting the video. A GoFundMe page was set up where 20 million were raised for him, which is quite astounding.

His daughter Seryna had set up a GoFundMe page so that he can visit her. He appeared on the tv show ‘Today’ with Savannah Guthrie. He said that he was overwhelmed by the generosity who have sent their donations. He can now fund his grandchildren’s education. He was appreciated for his hard work and dedication.

He said, “It’s like a dream, a dream come true, that nobody can think of this. It’s just overwhelming. Especially all of the support I’m receiving every day. It’s awesome.”

He thanked the people, “I’m grateful for everything. I’m grateful for every day I wake up, that I can go to work, that I can be a good citizen, be a good American, and just, you know, do my part. I’m just grateful for everything I get.”  His daughter was also called on the show where he got reunited with his daughter.

His daughter was overjoyed and said that she was overjoyed with the response. She said, “My dad deserves the world, to me, in my opinion. My dad gave me the world. My dad made me the person that I am, so, I love my dad more than I can ever put into words.”
