The Post Graduate Medical Institute and Ameeruddin Medical College convocations were held concurrently in Aiwan-e-Iqbal under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Muhammad Al-Fareed Zafar. The chief guest was Dr. Yasmin Rashid, the provincial health minister.
Dr Waleed MBBS excelled by receiving 29 medals (27 gold and 2 silver) in MBBS. Dr. Waleed stated that he used to study for 14 to 16 hours every day and slept for only 2, 3 hours. He could do this because of his extraordinary efforts and hard work.
Furthermore, during his remarks at the occasion, Prof. Al-Fareed Zafar remarked that the Post Graduate Medical Institute’s medical education had benefitted thousands of professionals locally and abroad.
Dr Waleed made a distinction by achieving 29 medals in MBBS
He praised the fact that specialists who graduated from this institution have increased respect for Pakistan’s green passport on a global scale and have turned into a proud asset of the nation by serving as ambassadors and standards of decency.
