When we say Fizzy Drink! One name comes to our mind, and that is Coca-cola. It has been the king of drinks for over 150 years. People from all age groups love Coca-Cola. They have been trying out flavors like cherry, vanilla, and cherry vanilla. But here is the exciting news!! Can you guess? Let’s not make you wait. Coca-Cola created a flavour that is inspired by space. It is a new limited edition of the classic soft drink. It is also available in regular and zero sugar.
Starlight is ‘the first beverage from Coca-Cola Creations, an innovation platform.’ What does it taste like?? Hmm!!! I haven’t tested it yet. Have you?? But we got to know that some people have tasted it. Some think it is like raspberry, as the google search told them. It can also be seen on some of the retailer websites expected to launch next week.
A Youtuber tried it and described its taste as “chocolate (and) graham cracker.” A Redditor associated its taste with roasted marshmallows and chocolate between graham crackers.
What’s the mystery behind it?
Coca-cola has unveiled the mystery of Starlight finally. According to them, “Starlight is inspired by space has notes reminiscent of stargazing around a campfire, as well as a cooling sensation that evokes the feeling of a cold journey to space. Coca-Cola Starlight combines great Coca-Cola taste with a dash of the unexpected, including a reddish hue.”
Real Magic
The new flavor has introduced promotional digital marketing campaigns featuring pop singer Ava Max. As per the marketing strategy, coca-cola has launched a new platform named “Real Magic”. This includes a different approach by reaching the consumers through music and gaming etc. Introducing ‘new limited-time products and experiences across physical and digital worlds’, is also part of Real Magic.
Oana Vlad, Senior Director of global brand strategy at Coca-Cola said, “When we launched ‘Real Magic,’ we wanted to connect with and celebrate the experiences that bring joy to young people today, and that has taken us to an exciting new territory.”
Holographic Concert
Campaigns and mysterious products are used to attract new customers. With this new flavour Starlight, they have thought of ‘a holographic concert by Ava Max, who has also performed on the gaming platform ROBLOX. They can access the concert via a QR code on the Starlight label. The sparkly packaging and that reddish hue.’ All this makes it worth it.
But here is an interesting fact: not everything about ‘Starlight’ is new. It is a continued effort to the concept when a can of Coke was sent to space in the 1980s. But in space too, the coke can taste like its usual flavour.
