The popular chat app WhatsApp is working on a new feature that will let users make their own stickers right inside the app. Even though the feature is still being made, it looks like it will give users a more fun and personalised experience.
With the next update, users will be able to quickly turn their photos into stickers. Using the power of iOS 16 APIs, the app smartly pulls out the subject from the chosen picture and turns it into a sticker without any trouble.
This gets rid of the need for third-party apps and gives users a more natural and easy experience. WhatsApp wants to make it easier to make stickers by making it possible to do so right from the chat share action sheet.
Users will be able to choose a picture from their gallery and use different editing tools, such as removing the background, to make their stickers look just right.
The tool for making stickers will be available on both WhatsApp Web and WhatsApp Desktop.
