It isn't your WIFI, It's the WhatsApp that is down Again!

Users worldwide couldn’t talk to their friends and family because of a massive WhatsApp outage, but the problem was fixed an hour after it happened. WhatsApp was down once again and people thought it is their WIFI.

Yesterday, more than 200,000 WhatsApp users around the world reported problems with the app.

Most of the problems were caused by people having trouble sending texts through the app. Downdetector got more than 29,000 reports in the US and more than 177,000 reports from people in the UK.

On Wednesday, this app was plagued by a widespread outage, which left hundreds of thousands of users without access to the service.

Because of the global outage, customers could not contact their friends and loved ones. Meta owns the app in question.

DownDetector, a website that tracks internet difficulties, revealed that the outage began at around 4 p.m. Eastern Time (ET), and despite receiving a deluge of problem complaints, it was resolved in just one hour.

Meta acknowledged the “connectivity issues with WhatsApp” by utilizing the recently introduced Threads.

This happened for the second time this year. The issue was resolved after a few hours but stayed for a long time in the UK.
