They bring huge victories home and make the whole nation proud. If they are a proven asset to the country then why they are denied the proper training channels and amenities.

Talha Talib the weightlifting champion.

Undoubtedly, every sportsperson is proud of his/her country but what happens when they are not provided the facilities that they need to polish their talent. It is these people who are working to make Pakistan proud; and thus, they need that recognition. And as such Talha Talib, a 22-year-old weightlifter was seen training in a classroom due to no proper training room.

They bring huge victories home and make the whole nation proud. If they are a proven asset to the country then why they are denied the proper training channels and amenities. This is not the first time that sports and sportsperson other than that of cricket are not acknowledged or given the lime light. This is something, which we owe them!

Baat To Sach Hai Magar Baat Hai Ruswai Ki..

Talha Talib is indeed a champion. Last year, he secured fifth position in the 67kg category at Tokyo Olympics. He lifted 320kg which was just 2 kg less than the bronze medal holder, Mirko Zanni. However, in the snatch category his lift of 150 kg was considered the round’s second-best lift. Na sirf yeh– Talha ne pichlay saal Tashkent World Weightlifting Championship mein tau kamaal he kar diya. Despite being injured he brought home a bronze medal in the 67kg category. Bhai salaam hai ap ko!

Alama Iqbal kay kuch alfaaz to cheer up Talha Talib for his passion even in such harsh conditions.

Auqabi Rooh Jab Baidar Hoti Hai Jawanon Mein

Nazar Ati Hai Iss Ko Apni Manzil Asmanon Mein

Na Ho Naumeed, Naumeedi Zawal-e-Ilm-o-Irfan Hai

Umeed-e-Mard-e-Momin Hai Khuda Ke Raazdanon Mein

Nahin Tera Nasheman Qasr-e-Sultani Ke Gunbad Par

Tu Shaheen Hai Basera Kar Paharon Ki Chatanon Mein

After these many victories, Talha Talib is getting ready to bring home more medals. He has focused all his energy, passion and time to make a cut in Commonwealth Games which are scheduled to take place in Singapore on 25th – 27th February, 2022.

Jitni baar sarhaya jaye kam hai. Neemos wish Talha Talib best of luck for his upcoming competitions and request government to not take such an asset for granted.
